Minara Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Minara (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Minara is a free mobile application that provides accurate Islamic prayer times and related worship features. The service includes:

• Accurate prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha
• Real-time countdown to next prayer
• Multiple calculation methods and madhab support
• Location-based prayer times (automatic or manual city selection)
• Offline mode with smart caching
• Optional account for cloud sync and notifications
• Bilingual support (English and Turkish)
• Completely free with no subscriptions, ads, or limitations

3. Eligibility

Minara is rated 9+ and is suitable for users aged 9 and older. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

5. Free Service

Minara is provided as a completely free service. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or premium tiers. All features are available to all users at no cost.

• No advertisements or sponsored content
• All features are available to everyone
• No hidden fees or charges

6. Acceptable Use

While using Minara, you agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
• Share false or misleading information about prayer times
• Use automated systems to access the app
• Interfere with other users' experience
• Attempt to overwhelm or abuse our servers

7. Prayer Time Accuracy

We strive to provide the most accurate prayer times possible using established Islamic calculation methods. However:

• Prayer times are calculated based on astronomical data and selected calculation method
• Accuracy may vary based on your location and settings
• We recommend verifying times with your local mosque or Islamic authority
• Different calculation methods may yield slightly different results
• You are responsible for selecting the appropriate calculation method and madhab for your tradition

8. Intellectual Property

The app and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app
• Use our trademarks or logos without permission
• Create derivative works based on the app
• Remove or alter copyright notices
• Extract or reuse any portion of the app's code or content

9. Privacy and Data

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Minara is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Absolute accuracy of prayer times
• Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
• That the app will meet all your requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Religious Content

Minara is designed to assist Muslims in performing their religious obligations. We strive to respect Islamic tradition and scholarship. However:

• We are not religious scholars or authorities
• The app is a tool and should not replace consultation with qualified Islamic scholars
• Different Islamic schools and traditions may have varying practices
• Users should verify important religious matters with their local Islamic authority

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service
• Technical or security reasons

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription through Apple.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.
